At the Multi award-winning Café Nucleus we are an oasis on the High Street, you’ll be welcomed with a warm smile, a great atmosphere, fantastic food and good service.

Not only do we serve delicious coffee but we help promote and support the works of the Halpern Charitable Foundation which founded Nucleus Arts. We believe it’s important to support not only local Kentish economy and the vulnerable people in the Medway towns through the dedicated work of the HCF and Nucleus Arts.

A coffee isn’t just a coffee… At Café Nucleus it’s an experience! From field, boat, herd or flock we at Café Nucleus work with our suppliers and our supply chain to ensure we deliver the very best produce from traceable origins. Working with local suppliers we source some fantastic products from our vegan sourdough bread from Wild Breads Bakery in Faversham to Kentish milk from Hinxden Farm Dairy.

Café Nucleus is a continental style café infusing traditional café fare with a European accent.  From fine wines to champagnes, with our 252 spirits including 106 gins, there really is something for everyone.  Our wine list showcases some of the very best local Kentish wines our beautiful county has to offer. The café is perfect to sit back, relax and unwind with our boutique interior, beautiful dishes served on handmade British crockery and wine served in the finest C&S crystal glassware.
 
Every single detail matters at Café Nucleus, from our White Company Noir hand soap and lotion and individual hand towels in our toilets, to our state of the art Bose & Sonos sound system broadcasting in full studio lose-less quality – there simply isn’t anywhere else like Café Nucleus on the High Street.
 
Our menu is non-stop with our multi award-winning brunch being served from open till close. 106 dishes, all freshly made served daily, with all dietary requirements catered for. Wherever possible, we aim to source our ingredients from farms and suppliers from Kent, we believe some of the finest British produce are grown right on our doorstep.
